office Furniture
The headquarters of Department of Human Services and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is located in Carlton Tower, Geelong. During its construction, Kane Constructions, the managing contractor for the project, worked closely with Woods Bagot Architects to source a daunting list of office furniture for the entire building.
Bowen Interiors was approached by Kane Constructions to partner with them as an office furniture supply partner for a fully managed contract due to their wide portfolio of products and the quality of their furniture. There were also strict guidelines to follow in terms of meeting the project brief, which included a 6 Star GreenStar rating and colour scheme set by the architects. Bowen Interiors project team worked closely with Kane Constructions and Woods Bagot, coordinating all suppliers locally and internationally, to provide a world-class office furniture fitout.

To ensure a smooth furniture installation, Bowen Interiors conducted work at night, relieving the pressure on other installers on site. The result is a state-of-the-art office building with an inviting and modern workspace that features zoned areas for different work types. One of the key features of the building is its large central staircase with a breakout space located in the central atrium, allowing employees to take a break from work and “zone out.”
Bowen Interior’s fully integrated and project-managed package ensured that both the builder, architect, and end client received the high level of support they needed throughout the entire process, ultimately benefiting the employees who now enjoy an exceptional work environment
